Otis Goes Green (2010) provides art and design students with the knowledge and tools needed to make ecodesign an integral part of the design process. Students in this course will have an opportunity to help Otis become Green, discuss Green Design with top Green Designers and attend a Green Design Show. We believe it is at the design education level where we have the best opportunity to create a sustainable future.

Project 1 - Otis Enlightenment
一道本不卡免费高清 Students in this group aimed to create an awareness about existing sustainability projects happening at Otis. A green resource center was proposed, one that would hold news about events and projects. Tshirts, bags, green programs and a green suggestion box were also ideas that were presented as being a part of this project.
Project 2 - Otis Saves Trees
Students in the group 'Otis Saves Trees' designed recycling centers for each floor at Otis. The boxes were designed to come in a variety of sizes to fit the individual, the department and the campus. These boxes would hold dry paper products. The 'Otis Saves Trees' logo would be on each box to ensure that the Otis community would be able to easily find each recycling center
Project 3 - Otis Rescue Society
Students in this group aimed to inform the public, modify behavior and promote the well-being of health and environment by encouraging the Otis community to take the stairs and reduce the consumption of electricity.
Project 4 - Otis Foundation Waste Kits
一道本不卡免费高清Foundation students would receive 'waste kits' at the beginning of their Otis College careers, and would become educated on proper disposal and management of hazardous materials. This would create a program where Otis students are knowledgeable and practiced in proper solvent recycling and dumping.
